Glycerine is a viscose, clear, colourless liquid with a slightly sweet taste. It is mainly used to soften icing but can also be added to cake recipes where flour is used to create a softer crumb texture and is also used prevent royal icing from setting too firm. The secure twist capped bottle contains 35ml (1 1/4 oz.) of glycerine
When adding to cakes, use 1 teaspoon of glycerine per 100g flour. The secure twist capped bottle contains 35 g (1 ¼ oz) of Glycerine.
